LYND has been forging its own musical path for over ten years. In recent years, alongside numerous concerts in Hungary, the band has also performed abroad: it has played on several occasions in Vienna, Prague and Moscow, and its work has been recognised with a number of professional awards and accolades.
After a break of several years, the band is embarking on a new chapter. The Portrait EP is the result of a deliberate shift in musical direction: live instruments have taken the place of the electronic elements of the past. The vintage sound, distinctive guitars, natural drums and finely crafted instrumentation come together to create songs that are both personal and cinematic. Influences from alternative soul and cinematic pop converge in a refined, timeless sound, where every note and every silence carries significance.
LYND’s story has been shaped from the very beginning by the songwriting collaboration between Linda Kiszner and Gábor Rembeczki. The ‘Portrait’ EP is the first joint release by the current four-piece line-up, with the band’s sound rounded off by the playing of Gergely Okos (drums), Bence Bécsy (guitar) and Gábor Rembeczki (bass). Every track on the album is the result of a collaborative creative process, to which each musician has contributed their own musical character, ideas and sensibility.
Portrait is not merely a new EP, but the beginning of a new era. Its songs explore the subtle layers of human relationships, the passing of time, change and hope, leaving room for the listener to discover their own stories and feelings within them. Performed live, these songs take on a new dimension: the intimate moments, the elegant instrumentation and the shared experience create a concert atmosphere that is at once intimate, captivating and memorable.

Pilot Jr:
Just when we think indie pop has shown us every facet it has to offer, a band like Pilot Jr. reminds us once again why this genre still has the power to captivate listeners. In their music, the brilliant vocal harmonies, jangling guitars, warm, lively rhythms and subtly layered synth sounds simultaneously evoke a nostalgic atmosphere whilst feeling fresh and contemporary.
Vienna-based Pilot Jr. draw inspiration from acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Low and The Flaming Lips, as well as the rich musical worlds of shoegaze and dream pop. However, they do not simply replicate these influences; instead, they shape them into their own unique sound, in which ethereal atmospheres, memorable melodies and emotional depth form a natural unity.
Their songs invite the listener on a musical journey where it is easy to lose oneself in a world of layered sounds, whilst the songs’ power and melodic focus remain intact throughout.
